in the period from April 24th to 26th, 2018, Tse-Xin Foundation participated in IFOAM Asia, event of “The 4th ALGOA Summit " held in Goesan Gun, Korea. Also, at the date of April 25th, 2018 the 4 parties including IFOAM Asia, ALGOA, Tse-Xin Foundation, and NTCG to sign-up the MOU , and planned to participate in the interactivity of ALGOA Summit, in order to furtherly close corporation with the development of each country member from ALGOA. Tse-Xin Foundation joined IFOAM in 2016, this time, due to NTCG long time support on the positive help for the friendly agriculture, thus After the signup of MOU, Tse-Xin Foundation will join NTCG to participate in the event, and upgraded to full member of ALGOA, and it becomes the first case in Taiwan, In future, by applying the platform of ALGOA Asian countries to keep cooperation and experience sharing intensively. And looking forward to more international experience sharing, along with the volunteers around the world to keep the sustainable Earth working.

UN passed the bill officially in December 2017 “Decade of Family Farming 2019-2028” and assigned the public policy of more friendly family agriculture. To focus on the definition of Asia Organic Family Farming, the foundation carrying along with the discussion of local governmental policy. Due to Taiwan agriculture being categorized as small farmer household management type, this time it shows the meeting is very crucial.

During the meeting, Tse-Xin Foundation gave a speech upon “The Organic Agriculture of National Park, a case study of Si-Bao Village”, the speaker Dr. Chen, Lung-Chung shared the experience between the foundation and Taroko National Park Bureau, after 5 years painstaking effort, have successfully helped the farmers of Si-Bao Village transform the plantation into organic type processes, which take good care of not only the sustainable management in National Park but also farmers‘ livelihood in order to develop the highlights of village, Meanwhile, put into consideration upon “ Produce, Ecology, Living, and Life”, the 4 elements to make Si-Bao Village a would-be organic ecology village and a good example.

December, 2017, the vice chairman of IFOAM CEO Ms. Jennifer Chang visited Tse-Xin Foundation, and she also invited the foundation to participate in 4th ALGOA Annual, in order to express the promotional methods and its outcome to Asian countries

Tse-Xin Organic Agriculture Foundation was invited to participate “The 4th ALGOA Summit”, along with IFOAM Asia, ALGOA, and New Taipei City Government (NTCG) jointly to sign up MOU for experience sharing and cooperation.

Tse-Xin Foundation with the title of “The Organic Agriculture of National Park, a case study of Si-Bao Village” to share the experience upon organic farming to help farmers , other units including Council of Indigenous Peoples, Taichung District Agricultural Research and SubStation Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, and Association of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples’ Development.
